   On April 14, 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 keeping in view the COVID-19 situation in the country .    A high-level meeting was held on  23rd May 2021  .  The high-level meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Other cabinet ministers, CBSE Officials, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ,  Smriti Irani and Prakash Javadekar were also present in  the meeting.
